The Dog That Jumped Over The Moon / Avizia Long + M. Everett

$330.00

About The Collaboration

The Dog That Jumped Over The Moon was created by illustrator, M. Everett, and ceramic artist, Avizia Long. This plate features clay dachshund embellishments from Avizia, which is a primary theme in her work, jumping over a crescent moon. Around the plate are painted flowers that bloom in the night, heavily influenced by folk art that often is found in M’s illustrations. This plate is roughly 9” in diameter.

About The Artists

Avizia Long

Avizia is an Indiana-based potter, dachshund devotee, plant enthusiast, and the self-proclaimed ceramic weenie lady. She creates one-of-a-kind, joy-filled ceramics designed to bring sweetness, playfulness, and a little bit of magic into your home.

M. Everett

M.Everett is a maker of many things (paintings, sculptures, signs, flyers, performance). Being based out of the Midwest their work draws on the themes, mythos, plant, fauna, and scenes they’re exposed to everyday. Through making they explore queerness and fable making.
