Series 2 /Sunshine Ray + Bryn Foreman
About The Collaboration
This plate is a collaboration between two friends, Sunshine Ray and Bryn Foreman. Bryn created an initial two sided collage as a place mat, that the imagery was then mirrored onto the surface of the plate. When stacked on top of each other, the imagery lines up nearly perfectly to its background. Sunshine’s signature star shape is found as the shape of the plate, with the main image in the collage as an ode to Sunshine’s love of clowns.
About The Artists
Sunshine Ray
Sunshine Ray is a multidisciplinary lesbian artist practicing in Indianapolis. She expresses real, raw, and vulnerable feelings through writing, fashion, graphic design, videography and music. Her work is recognizably playful in nature with bold colors and star iconography.
Bryn Foreman
Bryn Foreman is a non-binary curator and artist living in Indianapolis, IN. They are interested in themes of consumption, pop culture mythology, gender, and desire. Outside of the studio, Foreman enjoys running, reading, and keeping their plant collection out of reach of their two cats.
