Crab Plate /Amanda Pennington + Amanda Marie Bell
About The Collaboration
Ceramic artist Amanda Pennington and illustrator Amanda Marie Bell have teamed up to create a truly stunning plate. Crabs exist in the wild in a wide variety of shapes and colors, making them the perfect muse to create a plate which represents both artists' existing bodies of work. You can see Bell’s use of imagery and texture, and Pennington’s love of color and line showcased through illustrative line work, textural glaze layering, and bold color choices. The artists’ hope you walk away from viewing the plate with an Amanda Squared experience.
