The Connectedness of Everything, Everywhere, Page 1 /Abby Jo Elle + Ray Brown
About The Collaboration
This dinner plate is the ultimate collaboration between Abby Jo Elle and Ray Brown. Throughout each step, the artist both gave effort in spending every work session crafting this piece and became friends along the way!
The concept blossomed from a few ideas in initial conversations where the artists discovered a shared love of their midwestern origins, communities, and webcomics.
About the Artists
Abby Jo Elle
Abby Jo Elle has a Bachelor's degree in Pre-art Therapy and a double minor in Psychology and Painting, but now she chooses a life dedicated to ceramics and caregiving.
Abby Jo Elle is an Indianapolis based artist whose preferred medium is pottery.
She’s chosen working with clay as her canvas, using the “sgraffito” method of carving, because it helps ground herself in a chronically online world.
Ray Brown
Ray Brown is an illustrator and character artist from the midwest.
